Splendid frescoes in a remarkable church, with a Romanesque and a Gothic part, in Verona.
The church has a Romanesque lower part with four naves, incorporating early Christian elements and those of a Gothic upper church dating from the 14th century. Inside there are splendid frescoes by Pisanello, The Annunciation (1426) and the two saints, San Michele and San Raffaele, which in a very original way frame the sculpted tomb of Niccolò Brenzoni, a wealthy Veronese who died in 1422. This is the first work signed by Pisanello ("Pisanus Pinxit").

L'une des quatre églises à ne pas manquer à Verone, d'autant plus que celle ci nous en offre deux en une. Beau cloître et superbes fresques.
