GIARDINI GIUSTI
A beautiful Renaissance garden with a belvedere offering a beautiful view of Verona.
The Giardino Giusti has been made famous by many illustrious people, such as the writers Maffei and Goethe, and has kept its Renaissance garden aspect unaltered, as it was designed in 1580 by Agostino Giusti, a knight of the Republic of Venice. This splendid park is divided into two sections: a lower part laid out in the Italian style with fountains, statues and well-ordered paths, and an upper part, on the hillside, with a beautiful row of cypress trees. A spiral staircase leads to a belvedere from which one can enjoy a vast panorama of Verona.
