PIAZZA BRÀ
A vast square with remarkable arches, the center of the city of Verona.
This vast forum in front of the famous bullring is the entrance to the ancient city. The square is bounded on the south side by two large arches that were once part of the fourteenth-century walls(Portoni della Brà). Next to it is the Torre Pentagona, a 13th-century building that belonged to the Cittadella. Finally, on the right, there is the Barbieri Palace, known as the Gran Guardia Nuova, where the Veronese Municipality now sits. It is worth mentioning the many cafes and restaurants around this area.
