Fosshotel offers quality services, contemporary decoration, while adapting to the Icelandic environment

The Fosshotel Group was founded in 1996 by a group of travel agencies and companies in the Icelandic tourism industry. The operation began with two hotels in the capital, followed by Fosshotel Hallormsstaður in eastern Iceland. In 2005, the chain opened Iceland's first cultural hotel based on Norse mythology, Icelandic literature and classical music. Today, Fosshotel offers 18 hotels, 7 in Reykjavík and 11 in the countryside. The services are of the highest quality, and the decor is contemporary, yet adapted to the Icelandic environment.

We are stayed for three nights in Fosshotel Baron. Very well located and quiet near the main shopping street of Reykjavik and many shops and restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Room with a view of the sea and the mountains opposite. Only troubles, bathroom without bathtub and lift not big enough. A warm welcome. Free parking.
