HOTEL LEIFUR EIRIKSSON
Hotel offering rooms with private bathroom, radio, satellite TV and telephone
From the outside, this hotel doesn't look like much, but it is! The Hotel Leifur Eiriksson faces one of the capital's most popular landmarks: the spectacular Hallgrímskirkja church. It is housed in an old house with 47 en-suite rooms, radio, satellite TV and telephone, refurbished in 1993. In addition to its central location, you'll appreciate the personalization of the rooms, with designer paintings and colorful bed linen to match the hues of the different room types, and the warm welcome provided by the staff.

bon rapport qualité prix
One point to note is that some of the rooms aren't in the main (pictured) Hotel and you have to cross the road and go in to an entirely different building. It feels a bit like being a poor relation but it wasn't really an issue.
Another slight disappointment was that the breakfast wasn't great, very basic.
It's a great, reasonably priced b&b though, and we did really like it here!
One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful view of the church from my room. It was truly a picturesque scene that added to the overall ambiance of the hotel.
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city center, as it is just a short walk away from all the main attractions and restaurants. I appreciated being able to easily access everything I wanted to see and do during my stay.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city center.
