CENTERHOTEL ARNARHVOLL
Hotel located between the new conference center and administrative buildings, offers design and colorful rooms
You have probably passed the CenterHotel Arnarhvoll without paying attention to it. It is indeed rather discreet, located between the new conference center and administrative buildings. However, it hides its game well, and especially its design and coloured rooms with a pleasant decor, summer and winter. In addition to the undeniable comfort, you will enjoy the most beautiful view of the bay from the restaurant on the top floor. It is also just a stone's throw from the Harpa, whose facade lights up in many colourful shades at night.

Nice buffet breakfast at the 8th floor bar (Sky Bar).
Comfortable rooms with everything you need.
Highly recommended!
Tv doesn't work ,complained first night still not fixed ,not a big issue but we booked a family room and they fitted 3 single beds in it no room to walk round did complain and they said it is a big room.
We don't leave for another 5 nights .
If I come to Iceland again would avoid center hotels great locations and good food and service but room too tiny
The room has a mini fridge, a desk, a kettle, coffee, tea, a mobile luggage rack, shelves, hangers, iron and ironing board. There are enough outlets and USB sockets. The hotel is very close to the commercial streets and the bus station or the transfer minibuses. On the top floor is a superb bar, with acceptable prices and a fantastic view, where they serve a tasty, with different types of food for all tastes breakfast.
Spent 3 nights here and the location is superb... opposite a bus stop (number 5), we had a waterside view suite and it provided stunning views of the mountains across the water.
Whilst the rooms could be in need of a new lick of paint - the rooms are warm, comfortable and for a three star hotel as expected.
Breakfast was fantastic, laid back and served in the roof top bar... even though it gets busy there is always plenty and the staff do a brilliant job of cleaning tables fast and efficiently.
Like all of Iceland its not cheap to eat or drink however this is comparable to other hotels.
The outside of the building does look a little like a throwback to the 60s and pebbledash.... however it's a great hotel - recommended!
