Logically located on the harbour, this museum retraces the maritime history of the country with the help of models of boats, maps, navigation tools and various works of art. This exhibition allows you to understand the tremendous evolution of the fishing industry in Iceland which has enriched the country in a few decades. Very interactive, it is a real pleasure to visit, alone or with the family. It also houses a restaurant, Messinn, where seafood is one of the specialties.
