Had an amazing week holiday in Iceland, rented a camper van from Go Campers, it was a simple and easy process to collect, deliver and return the van, no hassle at any stage. Go Campers were great all through the process, would be happy to use these again next time.

We rented a van for 11 days in April, the weather turned out to be fairly cold and windy and let us be honest: the Easy Fun is NOT a winter van:
- insulation is next to inexistent,
- despite the claim that the webasto heating last 8 hours, in never lasted more than 4hours even when we used it at minimum power.

I shall put forward that when we picked up the van, the woman that took care of us was very kind and helpful.

Other than that, the beds are comfortable enough and the provided duvets are warm also. Equipment inside the van is nothing to write home about but it is sufficient to get by.

Because of the very poor insulation and heater we had to take hotel nights during the trip, so I would rate the experience as very disappointing as I find unprofessional to provide vans of this poor thermal performance in the winter without a clear warning.

Go Car Rental made getting our car in Iceland super simple! We went with the expedited check out and were able to simply walk to the designated spot for pick up and drive off! Any questions I had, I could email Go and I would get a response within an hour or two :) it was so smooth. And return was the same! Absolutely would rent with Go again :)

Amazing experience with Gocampers. The car we rented was new and very clean with all the equipments inside.
Additionally I would like to mention their employee Adam who did a huge favour when I lost my car keys he gave me a ride to Reykjavik so we wont get cold in the Icelandic Cold and Windy Weather.

Nous avons choisi GoCampers pour un road trip en Islande, et nous en sommes très satisfaits ! Une navette est venue nous chercher à l'aéroport dès notre arrivée, et nous a également déposé lors de notre départ. Nous avons fait le tour de l'île sans problème dans un van dans lequel nous dormions. Nous recommandons grandement cette agence de location, dont l'équipe est très amicale !

La experiencia con GO CAMPERs fue buena. La camioneta que nos rentaron cumplió con nuestras expectativas, aunque hubiera sido de utilidad que nos informen (anteriormente o bien, en la web) que no tendríamos agua por "bajas temperaturas". El check in fue lo peor del proceso. El asesor que nos atendió no sabía responder nuestras preguntas y nos decía "yo no soy mecánico", a preguntas básicas del funcionamiento. La asesora del check out fue espectacular. En líneas generales, es un buen plan para conocer islandia.

Would highly recommend gocampers for any trip to Iceland. The camper was very well equipped, the heater worked amazingly overnight and overall the van made our experience what it was. I need to give a special shout-out to Glenn as he looked after us upon arrival and departure and this was only his first week or so on the job as he was new to the team. He went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after, thanks Glenn (keep doing what you’re doing!) and team for an amazing Icelandic experience.

Good service, nice and helpful staff. We rented the Go ICELAND 2.0 Camper Fiat Doblo for a week and it was great. No problems with the overnight heater, it worked for 9-10 hours/night, we chose some extras: table and chairs but they're not useful this time of year, the barbecue was nice, wi-fi is a must and it really works fine, the duvet package the same, is a must...
Definitely recommend.

Great customer service from the beginning to the end of our trip.The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Especially Sonia, she was very helpful and kind with us. It’s really a pleasure to find people like her to make the trip more enjoyable. The camper was amazing. We drove all around the island with heavy snow and I feel super safety. We slept super comfortable and wormed with the heater. Beds are comfortable also. I recommend this company 100% and for sure I will repeat!

We stayed in Iceland for 12 days with the Go BIG Camper. We have no complaints. The van was great, had everything we needed and the overnight heating worked perfect when you drive a while during the day. Also these vans had spikes, thanks to which we had no problems even in the snowier north part pf the island. Also the fuel consumption of the van was reliable and economical, making it possible to drive far distances with just one tank. The service was easy and reliable. I recommend informing yourself beforehand about iceland and its roads and rules etc. That made it easier for us too.

All in all great service and would always choose GoCampers again when visiting Iceland.

Première expérience en van avec beaucoup d’appréhension au départ, et franchement pas déçue du tout, au contraire! Un service rapide et de qualité. Les campervans à la réception sont en états et propres. Véhicule bien équipé avec des pneus-clous : un plus. L’isolation est un peu à revoir, mais le chauffage est fonctionnel. :)

Inés's attention was exceptional. The speed and diligence with which she solved the car delay was perfect. She speaks perfect English and Spanish. She is a wonderful worker.

We rented a 3 person van (Renault Trafic) in September, and it was awesome experience. Everything was as expected or even better. Special thanks to the man that helped us for the pick-up process (I think his name is Artem).

We had a great experience with Go Campers. Great service and great van to camp in as you explore Iceland.

Siamo arrivati con 8 ore di ritardo causa maltempo, ci aspettavamo di trovare il Van già pronto, invece abbiamo perso più di 1 ora e mezza nella loro sede in quanto il van era bloccato nella neve e dovevano trovare qualcuno per tirarlo fuori.. alla fine ci siamo dovuti mettere noi a spingerlo per farlo uscire. La ragazza della reception ci ha detto che avrebbe parlato con il Manager per garantirci un rimborso per il tempo perso, ma invece di venirci incontro ci hanno addirittura detto che ci hanno già fatto un favore a non farci pagare 100€ in più perché abbiamo ritirato il van più tardi a causa del ritardo del volo (il van era già stato tutto pagato in anticipo), quindi non ci sarebbe spettato nulla.
Nonostante il van avesse il riscaldamento interno con Webasto ci è stato consigliato di aggiungere delle coperte e dei sacchi a pelo in quanto le coperte che danno di base, secondo loro, non erano sufficienti; erano in realtà più che sufficienti ed il tutto ci è costato 80€ in piu (3 sacchi a pelo e 2 coperte pesanti piccole).
Il van aveva un danno allo sportello lato passeggero causato dai precedenti noleggi che non permetteva alle guarnizioni di chiudere bene, il risultato era un continuo vento mentre si era in movimento. Ci siamo trovati nella situazione di dover chiamare il loro centralino per una richiesta di supporto ma dopo la voce elettronica non era possibile effettuare nessuna scelta in quanto non venivano registrati i tasti premuti ed il messaggio veniva ripetuto dí continuo; anche qui ci siamo dovuti risolvere da soli.
Ho messo due stelle solamente perché comunque il van, oltre a quanto detto sopra, non aveva altri problemi.
Se dovessimo tornare in Islanda sicuramente non torneremo da GoCampers

Se volete fare un viaggio in Islanda, non rivolgetevi affatto questa agenzia di noleggio,
Tralasciando i cuscini che vanno a formare il letto erano stracolmi di polvere, il riscaldamento che utilizzavamo di notte che sarebbe dovuto durare 8h a seconda di quello che dicono loro ne durava forse 3/4h quindi dovevamo dormire praticamente con più vestiti di quelli che usavamo per andare nelle grotte di ghiaccio ,ho depositato 1000€(cauzione) + 125€come assicurazione dato che non potevo fare l’assicurazione base visto che non accettano carte di credito digitali, quei soldi che ovviamente come ogni cauzione dovrebbero tornare non li ho mai più visti, tutt’ora scrivo alla loro mail e ricevo solo risposte praticamente inutili nessuno sa dove siano i miei soldi, ma non è finita qui, io e il mio amico di viaggio abbiamo avuto un brutto inconveniente su strada e abbiamo chiamato subito l’assistenza di go campers, abbiamo dovuto pagare 1050€ in più per questo inconveniente stradale e oltretutto non siamo nemmeno stati aiutati da questa agenzia dato che per arrivare da noi ci avrebbero messo 1 ora e 30 minuti, ci tengo a precisare che abbiamo dovuto pagare prima del soccorso altrimenti non sarebbero nemmeno partiti per venire ad assisterci in mezzo al nulla, dopo 20 minuti siamo stati soccorsi da un altro uomo che non aveva nulla a che fare con l’agenzia go campers, successivamente abbiamo chiamato il servizio di assistenza partito da 20 minuti per dire che non serviva più fare 1 ora e 10 minuti rimanenti di strada più il servizio di assistenza, ovviamente ci è stato detto che comunque il rimborso non lo avrebbero fatto nonostante il lavoro non fosse stato svolto e la strada da percorrere era praticamente iniziata, conclusione della storia l’islanda era bellissima ma con i 2000€ che questa agenzia e i suoi collaboratori mi ha sfilato dal portafoglio ci sarei potuto rimanere 2 mesi.
Spero di rivedere i miei soldi.

Ps: non trovate la prenotazione a mio nome semplicemente perché la prenotazione è stata fatta con il nome della persona con cui sono partito.

We started our journey with many other guests, who waited a long time for the driver at the meeting point. He only could transport 8 people so others had to wait even longer.
When we arrived we got our car relatively fast and it was in a good condition with some minor damages.
During our trip nothing happened to the car other than typical starting problems in cold weather. Maybe some equipment for engine starting would have been nice.

NON CHIAMATE MAI l’assistenza in caso andate fuori strada o vi innevate, sono dei truffatori vi chiederanno 1000 euro e le agenzie locali ve ne chiederebbero solamente 200. ATTENTI alle assicurazioni che vi fanno fare e ai depositi perché non vi ridanno indietro i soldi , è già passato un mese e stiamo ancora aspettando di ricevere i nostri soldi indietro, trovano scuse su scuse per non mandarli (1000 euro di cauzione). NON PRENOTATE MAI CON LORO.

Camper van overall was good.
Wish they had actual sleeping blankets that can cover an adult and also thicker than just a basic thin material. We did go in late October so it was a bit chilly.
Otherwise pleasant experience overall.
We enjoyed Iceland, the people and nature and the camper-van experience
