Very nice contact by mail, easy meeting at the airport with the MyCar shuttle driver... even in the middle of the night! 10' from airport to the office for an express check-in and I was on the road to Reykjavik. The same story for return. Thanks also for the good advices to drive safely in Iceland. I will definitely rent again with you!

Tout a été parfait. Une navette vient vous chercher à l'aéroport pour vous emmener jusqu'à l'agence de location. Elle vous ramène également après le retour du véhicule. Nous avons loué une Toyota Corolla 4x4 (Les routes étant extrêmement enneigées début avril, il est plus que nécessaire d'avoir un 4x4). Les prix sont plutôt raisonnables comparés à d'autres compagnies de location et vous avez le véhicule que vous avez choisi (pas de similaire). Pendant nos 15 jours de location, nous avons eu un message qui s'est affiché sur le tableau de bord, nous indiquant qu'il nous restait x kilomètres avant la vidange. Nous restant énormément de kms à faire (puisque nous faisions le tour complet de l'Islande), nous avons essayé de joindre la sté de location un dimanche. Nous sommes tombés sur un répondeur alors nous avons raccrochés puisque l'agence est fermée le dimanche. J'ai donc envoyé un email pour savoir ce que nous devions faire. Quelle surprise d'avoir une réponse très rapide et de recevoir un appel (qui faisait suite à l'appel que nous avions passé 5 min. avant). Donc en cas de problème, ils sont extrêmement réactifs. En terme d'assurance, même si vous avez une assurance complète avec Visa Premier par exemple, je recommande fortement de prendre l'assurance Sables et Cendres (SAAP) car les vents de sable et de cendres sont très courant dans ce pays et très corrosif pour les voitures. L'assurance Visa Premier prend tout en charge sauf ça. Et ça peut vous couter très cher en frais de réparation. Je recommande Mycar Keyflavik à 100 %.

The passenger pick up was great. They arrived earlier than expected. The vehicle was great and made it through the different terrain in Iceland. Total time for vehicle return was 5 min. Great rental vehicle company.

We got a nice clean hybrid car. Costumer service at bookig was very good and agent at the office, when were we got the car were very nice gave us all the information we needed and were very helpful.

We rented a Toyota highlander 2023 in march and I can't stress enough how satisfied we were with the car. It is comfortable for long drives and, with the winter tires and AWD it made the icy and snowy roads seem like a summer highway.
The pick up and check out was simple and easy. The shuttle to the airport is a plus and very convenient.
If I went back I would rent again here.

Fantastic experience. Shuttle driver picked us up from the airport timely (much better than waiting in long lines at airport counters) and friendly office staff explained all of the need-to-know info for driving around Iceland. Was not obnoxiously trying to sell unnecessary insurance coverage. Price was far less than chain-brands located closer to airport. Vehicles are very fuel efficient (great for expensive Iceland gas prices), in very good condition. In almost any other location around the world I use Enterprise, but in Iceland will always use MyCar. Superior service and far better pricing. Thank you!

We were very happy with the quality of the service provided by MyCar and also we were very happy with the car. We were glad to have a large car (Toyota Landcruiser) as we had a few days of snowy conditions.

Voyage début mars réalisé avec Guide to Iceland qui propose comme partenaire MyCar pour un véhicule de location (4x4 boîte automatique). Ils ont été super de bout en bout. Le véhicule nous ai loué propre, avec indications des précédents dommages et un diagnostic photo de l'état du vehicule par mail. Le véhicule était fonctionnel, récent et hybride, ils proposent de rouler qu'avec du Toyota et ce sont de bons véhicules. La récupération du véhicule s'est bien passée, ils ont étaient super arrangeant car nous avions un vol avancé et nous on transporte jusqu'à l'aéroport. Le fait de faire du 24h/24 est super et nous a évité bien des tracas. Je recommande à 100%

I could not fault this company at all. I was treated with courteousy by the staff who were very friendly, efficient and lovely to meet.

The shuttle service to the airport was quick and the driver loaded my big heavy bag for me.

The vehicle I hired was very clean, modern and great to drive. I have no problem at all highly recommending this hire company. Thank you all.

We love using MYCAR when traveling to Iceland! They always arrive at the airport when they say they will. The MYCAR reps are efficient with getting us on the road. What we particularly love is that all the rentals are Toyota hybrids. We also love that the vehicle we reserve online is the exact one we get. I will continue referring friends and family to MYCAR for their Iceland travels!

We rented a Toyota Rav 4. Very glad we got the hybrid and studded tires. Definitely saved us money on gas and helped prevent us from slipping on some of the extremely icy roads. The in car WiFi was another great touch since I didn’t have my data turned on. Our one complaint was that the windshield wipers were terrible. And with the snow and salt and rain it made it frequently difficult to see.

Car was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were very polite and shared crucial things to note for driving in Iceland.

I especially appreciated getting emails and infographics before we arrived to ensure we fully understand the rules and guidelines of driving in Iceland.

Pro tip: Get full insurance! Icelandic weather is extremely unpredictable and you want to be covered against every possibility.

Brilliant service especially picking us up from the airport on New Years Eve! Car was excellent for the roads we were on, definitely needed the Rav4 for driving in winter, heated seat and steering wheel were appreciated!
Definitely would recommend and use again should we return

Really good service, great cars and mostly very friendly staff. Have been using MyCar for 5 of our trips so far and have had zero issues with the rental process and cars! Will definitely rent again!

The only small inconvenience, is having to go from the airport to their office with a shuttle, which they provide of cause, but it only runs every hour and almost never matched our arrival time, often leading to wait times and a little stress on arrival. One of our shuttle drivers also drove a little recklessly one time. But that really is the only negative I have to say.
