HERADSSKOLINN
Youth hostel offering rooms and dormitories decorated in bright colors, with perfect value for money
Designed in 1928 by one of Iceland's greatest architects, Guðjón Samúelsson, the hostel offers rooms and dormitories decorated in bright, warm colours. The whole place is bright and modern, with tasteful decorative touches. There is also a lovely vintage decorated lounge and a bistro, café and bar on site with lake or mountain views. You also have the option of cooking on site to save on catering costs. A perfect value for money.

The room is spacious and stylish, everything is clean.
However the kitchen is very lacking for travellers who wanted to cook, this guesthouse is better for travellers who eat in the house's restaurant which I think is delicious.
This guesthouse is accessible as it has wheelchair lift to both second floor and the basement. When we get here it's halloween season so there's kids coming for trick or treat which is very cute.
Beautiful guesthouse overall!
Looks impressive from outside
But highly inconvenient
Wash rooms and showers were pretty much away from the rooms
Mainly hot water supply is very bad.
No value for money
All'ingresso di questo ostello centinaia di scarpe accatastate, tre soli bagni e una sola doccia a piano sono troppo pochi.
