A refuge located a few kilometers north of the junction between trails 35 and 347, in a magnificent setting
The hut is located a few kilometres north of the junction of tracks 35 and 347, and can be a good stopover for those wishing to explore the area (Hveravellir and Kerlingarfjöll can be reached in about 30 minutes by car). There are 50 beds available, as well as a kitchenette and sanitary facilities. The setting is really beautiful and animal lovers will be delighted to find a small stable on site. No provisioning possible on the spot. Open only in summer, booking is highly recommended.
