HÁIFOSS
Haifoss means high waterfall, with several meters of free fall, the second highest waterfall in Iceland.
The Háifoss waterfall is aptly named as it means "high waterfall". With its 122 m free fall, it is the second highest waterfall in Iceland. It takes about 2 hours of easy walking from Stöng following the river from which it comes, the Fossá. You can also reach it by car, there is a parking right next to it, but it is highly recommended to have a 4x4 as the road is not tarred. Once arrived, the panorama is breathtaking and we do not regret the whole way. Only nature as far as the eye can see, and no tourists.
