Straight and white waterfall, a few meters high, sometimes rippled by the wind, and adorned with beautiful rainbows
Not to be missed is the 60 m high, straight, white curtain waterfall, which sometimes ripples in the wind and is occasionally adorned with magnificent rainbows. A legend tells that at the bottom of the waterfall lies the treasure of Þrasi, one of the first settlers of Iceland. When a young boy wanted to find it, he only succeeded in retrieving a chest whose ring has long adorned the door of the church before being exhibited in the museum of Skógar, where it is still. Feel free to take the stairs at the side to get a view from above.

A voir !
