A beautiful waterfall, a truly magical place, with a chasm covered with moss, and the beautiful Gljufurarfos

This beautiful waterfall plunges to a sheer drop of over 65 metres, and has the unusual feature of allowing visitors to pass behind it, admiring several different viewpoints. But beware: it's easy to get wet or even soaked, and the terrain can be slippery! In fine weather, a rainbow rises up in front of the waterfall. Don't hesitate to take the path to the campsite, as it's behind this grassy area that the superb Gljufurarfos cascades into a moss-covered chasm. A truly magical place, especially in the off-season.

Beautiful fall easily accessible from free parking. Do not hesitate if possible to pass behind the fall. The slippery floor and Cagoule necessary. To continue the way until the end where you can admire a waterfall behind a fault.

Superbe cascade!
