Showman Julius with Lava Show hosts a beautiful show: the reconstruction of a molten lava flow.
Erected on the site of the town's former supermarket, the Lava Show building is home to a singular spectacle: the reconstitution of a molten lava flow. The lava is poured into a trough, around which spectators gather to experience the steam and sizzle generated by this natural phenomenon. Introductory explanations about Icelandic volcanoes, and in particular the Katla ("the kettle"), whose jökulhlaups are feared, are also given.
