Folklore museum with exhibitions on different aspects of the island, to understand the life of fishermen in Iceland
This folk museum is only a few years old, but it is an interesting visit to make your stay more fun. Here, there are exhibitions on different aspects of the island (the Turkish raid in 1627, the 1973 volcanic eruption, the sporting achievements of the local football club...), but also to understand the life of fishermen in Iceland. The information from the staff is a gold mine, and the place will make children happy.
