The Nuns' Lake, located next to the campground, has the Stjorn River flowing through it, with a waterfall and a trail.
The river Stjórn with its waterfall also flows by the campsite. From the campsite, a path climbs Klausturheiði. At the top, Systravatn, the "nuns' lake", owes its name to the nuns who used to come here to bathe. Another legend tells that two of them saw a hand emerging from the water one day, holding out a gold ring. When they reached for it, they were dragged to the bottom of the lake and disappeared forever. We come down from Systravatn through a small birch forest.
