Refuge with an incredible setting, and a hot spring, a kitchenette, with a possibility of camping

The Laugafell hut is a welcome stopover if you choose to organize a hike in the Sprengisandur. This hut has an incredible setting, as if it had sprung up in the middle of nowhere. It features 32 mattresses in two separate buildings, closed during the winter. The hot spring is very pleasant, with a changing room open 365 days a year. To prepare your meals, a kitchenette is available, but remember to bring your own provisions. Camping is also possible.
