Ásar Guesthouse is a beautiful and tastefully decorated house offering rooms with access to two shared bathrooms. Each room has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the town of Akureyri. In the morning, the radiant Hrefna prepares a hearty breakfast buffet, the best in the region in our opinion, with homemade products of course. The hotel has a beautiful garden and a terrace where you can enjoy your coffee on sunny days. A whirlpool is also waiting for you!

Owner's Message
Ásar Guesthouse is a beautiful home and guesthouse that features four double rooms along access to two bathrooms. A shared lounge with a TV is available to all guests.
Each room has beautiful views over the surrounding mountains and towards Akureyri town. The beds and linens are high-quality and all guests receive their own slippers and bathrobes to use during their stay. Every morning we offer our guests a hearty breakfast buffet with homemade goods but the breakfast is always included in the room price.
We have a beautiful and overgrown garden surrounding the house and a terrace where guests can enjoy their morning coffee on a sunny day. The terrace also features a hot tub which all our guests are welcome to use.
We focus on making our guests stay as comfortable as we can by providing a friendly and personal service.
