Freya and her team were amazing! I work with large group tours and they were so accommodating and wonderful to stay with, and they where so understanding and helpful when we had some last minute circumstances arise. Such nice people who go above and beyond for their guests! The location is so peaceful and relaxing. Great place to stay!

We slept one night in this hotel during the tour of Iceland. the Dalvik hotel is ultra basic, a bit dated, with tiny room but all in all acceptable. The girl from the Czech republic the check inn was very nice. The hotel has no restaurant so for dinner we had to make do with the suggestions the girl gave us (even though there are only two restaurants in the village). Very basic breakfast. It si no more a Fosshotel

Ein sehr gutes Hotel, die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und man hat einen sehr guten Ausblick.

Die Preise sind auch in Ordnung.

We were accommodated in a room in the section with a shared bathroom, it means not in a standard hotel room. The room was simple, quite small, just beds and several wardrobes, no table, no chairs. It was clean. The beds could be more comfortable. The reception desk is for the whole hotel. The czech-speaking lady at the reception was very nice. And you can have some free tea or coffee there. The shared bathroom is a problem because the toilets are within and it is for five rooms. On the other hand the shared kitchen was nice.

Las habitaciones son pequeñas y muy sencillas, pero están limpias y cumplen su función. No hay ascensor, hay que subir escaleras. Muy amables en recepción. Buena situación.

Pokoje byly obsazeny a tak jsme byli ubytováni v bungalovu. Na přespání dobré, ale týden bych zde nebyl. Plusem byla čistota a klid.

Die Lage ist gut. Genügend Parkplätze vor der Tür. Zimmer waren sauber aber haben schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Es war sehr klein. Zum schlafen ok auf der Durchreise. Buchen würde ich es aber nicht noch mal. War alles etwas heruntergekommen. Zu essen gab es nichts direkt im Hotel.

Hotel molto tranquillo ed alla mano, molto ben tenuto: la camera era pulita ed in ordine, così come la struttura in generale.
Ha un parcheggio gratuito davanti.
Offre la colazione inclusa.

Ieri ho soggiornato nell’ hotel ed é stata proprio una manna dal cielo. Ero in difficoltà dopo un viaggio lungo in bici sotto la pioggia.
Il ragazzo ceco alla reception mi é stato molto di aiuto in tutto. Ostello molto pulito. Consiglio vivamente

Pro:
- Viele Parkplätze vor dem hotel
- Zimmer waren sauber
- Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption am Abend freundlich
- liegt recht zentral in dalvik

Contra:
- Zimmer sehr hellhörig
- können nicht richtig abgedunkelt werden
- Mitarbeiterin am morgen hat nicht mal hallo gesagt

Waren hier für eine Nacht. Das hotel liegt recht zentral in dalvik gegenüber ist auch eine Tankstelle mit Shop.
Der Parkplatz ist sehr groß, hat genügend Platz.
Am Abend war die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, die Mitarbeiterin, welche wir am morgen getroffen haben, hat allerdings nicht mal hallo gesagt, sehr schade.
Die Zimmer sind recht hellhörig, sodass man auf dem Gang hört was in den Zimmern passiert und umgekehrt. Auch lassen sich die Zimmer nicht richtig abdunkeln. Es wsr aber alles sauber und ganz nett eingerichtet.

Cute little Boutique hotel in Dalvik. Freyja is the Manager and is FABULOUS! She goes above and beyond in ensuring you have a home cooked meal, clean room and feel welcome to this small fishing village. Older hotel but very clean! I highly recommend if you want to feel warm, cozy and welcomed!

Booked our stay in Dalvík over a year ago with plans to take the ferry out to Grimsey Island. Unfortunately the ferry was still under maintenance. We kept our travel plans anyway, and are glad we did. Took a great whale watch and stayed at Hótel Dalvík. Very friendly service, exceptionally clean room, nice bathroom. It was very peaceful and we slept great! Definitely would stay again!
