A museum with numerous events and temporary exhibitions, housed in a superb villa typical of the Belle Époque period.
A typical example of Second Empire seaside architecture, this beautiful villa was built in 1865 for the Marquise de Montebello. It overlooks the sea, offering a breathtaking view of the Bay of Seine. The collection evokes the early days of the Trouvillaise resort. The famous poster artist Raymond Savignac, whose works are dotted around the town, and Charles-Louis Mozin, the great painter of Trouville, have a place of honour here! The museum organises numerous events around its collections, as well as a wide variety of temporary exhibitions.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
Une réelle déception, la qualité et la découverte ne sont absolument pas au rendez-vous. Pour 1€ de plus, le musée de Honfleur est incomparablement plus riche.
While it is an old villa, there is nothing left of the original interiors. The grounds haven't got much to show, and look like they need maintenance.
Overall Trouville can do better, and should invest for the benefits of locals and visitors.
