This superb château, built in 1631 by François Mansart, has been a listed historic monument since 1981

Opening time and information on BALLEROY CASTLE

Open from April to All Saints' Day vacations. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. July and August, daily from 10.45am to 6pm. The château can only be visited with a guide (tours every hour). Free for children under 7. Adults: €7 (château + park). Children: €5.50 (and students). Museum + park: €4.50 (€3.50 child). Castle + museum + park: €9 (€6.50 child). Park: €1.50 (free for children). Park price temporarily reduced due to damage caused by storm Ciaran, park offered in packages. Catering (tearoom). Gift store.

A sad copy of the Fountainebleau Chateau. Some interesting things, but old, cold and a bit sad.

Le château est en travaux donc recouvert d'une bâche qui présente la façade du château en trompe l'œil...donc petite frustration de ne pas avoir vu la vraie façade. A l'intérieur, on visite seulement quelques pièces mais elles sont très belles et pleines d'œuvres d'art.
