A museum-garden featuring more than 450 species and varieties of flowers and vegetables, to discover a preserved heritage.
With some 450 species of flowers and vegetables from the Pays d'Auge, this garden is the perfect place to discover vegetables as old as the Petit carré de Caen bean and the Bleue de la Manche potato, as well as "war vegetables" from the time when women roasted seeds to extract an ersatz coffee. Young and old alike are amused by the unusual names: Pois Brebis, Marshmallow, soapweed, whose history is recounted on desks.
