THE CASTLE AND THE DUNGEON

The castle was built around 950 by Onfroi Le Dane on the remains of the old Roman wall. Since then it was added a succession of enclosures and ditches. Unfortunately disappeared at the end of the nineteenth century, the tower was replaced by a high crenelated tower, clever transformation of a thirteenth century curtain wall. Stairs allow you to reach all above and discover a superb viewpoint on the sub-district. Certainly a place not to be missed, and whose visit will not take you too much time.
