Museography showing the history of Avranches and Mont Saint-Michel from the Gallo-Roman era
It’s an unexpected place, and one that should surprise you! The modern Scriptorial boasts a magnificent museography. Visitors are taken through the history of Avranches and Mont from Gallo-Roman times, to the Middle Ages and the discovery of manuscripts. This journey takes in a corpus of some 700 digitised images, enabling virtual manipulation of the manuscripts, the treasure room, where volumes from the Mont monastery library are on display, and finally the printing works.

Il y a réellement une salle du trésor et c'est peu dire!!
Mais, c'est en parcourant les salles, que l'on peut constater que les architectes de nos jours ne sont pas à la cheville de ceux du moyen âge !!! Les bruit des aérations est en sont la preuve flagrante !!!!????
