A street in Avranches famous for its "gargoyle house", built in stone by merchant Jean Le Masson in 1651.
In the past rue Quatre-Œufs, we pass in front of the "maison aux gargouilles", built in 1651 by the merchant Jean Le Masson who made his fortune in the butter trade. The gargoyles in question are located between the first and second floors. Going from Place Saint-Gervais to Rue Pendante, the street is well worth a detour, just to stroll for a few moments, with your mind a little elsewhere.
