This magnificent landscaped park, listed as a Remarkable Garden and a Historic Monument, is an 18-hectare jewel-case at the heart of which nestles an 18th-century château. A visit to the park takes you on a romantic journey through exotic and ancient trees (redwoods, ginkgos biloba, cedars of Lebanon...), along the English river, lakes, 14 waterfalls, bamboo jungles and clumps of rhododendrons and camellias - one of which has just been awarded the "remarkable tree" label. The château’s interiors are also open to visitors.

Un lieu magique! Bernard et Inaki ont eu à coeur de nous faire partager leur passion pour les vieilles pierres, les antiquités et la botanique. Un véritable havre de paix doublé d'un régal pour les yeux et les papilles: le petit déjeuner est somptueux et tout aussi généreux que les maîtres des lieux. Tout a été parfait: de l'accueil aux conseils prodigués pour visiter la région dans les meilleures conditions! Bernard a le souci du détail ( couverts en vermeil pour la dégustation de l'oeuf brouillé, raisins épépinés dans la salade de fruits frais...). La chambre du marquis était luxueuse et d'une propreté irréprochable, bref plus qu'un hébergement, une parenthèse enchantée! Bonne continuation à tous les deux!

Elegance, warmth, and beauty! We had an exceptional stay in this 18th-century chateau in the countryside. Owners Inaki and Bernard have created a very special place that celebrates their passion for art, sculpture, and antiques. The surrounding property is breathtaking, and walking through the trees and gardens is a must! Breakfast was superb and served by the welcoming hosts. Don't miss this unique gem!

Tout était parfait, la chambre spacieuse et joliment décorée, le petit déjeuner fabuleux et l’accueil de Bernard qui est un passionné du lieu. Merci de nous permettre de pouvoir profiter de ce lieu si incroyable. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu y passer plus de temps pour profiter du parc donc nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!
