Les Ormes is a hotel-restaurant well worth the detour. Aiming to be a gourmet Normandy stopover, the menu offers a wide range of well-balanced recipes, seafood (the platters are famous) and local fish. From soy-snacked beef to salmon Bömlo, it’s all excellent, and everything is available on a number of attractive menus. Open to the outside, with a superb garden designed by Guillaume Pellerin, the place is enchanting.

Chambre bien placée, vue port, bon rapport qualité prix. Il faudrait songer à installer une prise électrique près de la bouilloire.
Gros point positif pour le restaurant. De l’entrée au dessert, tout était excellent. Le dessert tatin feuilleté, sorbet au cidre, vanille… une tuerie !

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette hôtel, la décoration des chambres et des espaces communs est soignée et de bon goût, le petit-déjeuner est copieux avec des produits de qualité. L'emplacement près du port permet de se balader à pieds et de profiter des petits commerces.
Nous trouvons néanmoins que le prix hors saison est un peu élevé car les chambres sont relativement petites et Barneville-Carteret peu dynamique en hiver.
