Parish church with a nave and a bell tower built in 1818 in Barneville-Carteret
Originally, a seigneurial chapel was erected on this site. When Marie Françoise de la Luthumière, Dame de Carteret, donated the church of Saint-Louis, it became a parish church. A nave and a bell tower were added in 1818. It remained in use until 1908 before being replaced by the present church of Saint-Germain. The Saint-Louis church is sometimes used for Protestant worship. Of this monument, which some still call "chapel" and not "church", only the choir and the bell tower remain, surrounded by the old cemetery.
