As far as the eye can see on this impressive site, white, fine sand, piled up in valleys a little deserted and sown with wild grass, covers the dune massif from Baubigny to Carteret. Once you have passed the cape of Carteret, heading north, this lunar landscape opens up to you. The site is classified, property of the municipalities and the Conservatoire du Littoral, it is protected from any construction. Two paths are marked out to allow you to discover the richness of the perched dunes and the wooded valleys: the feeling of being out of time is striking.
