Sublimes plages! Nous avons séjourné à coté de la plage de Barneville: très agréable en famille, c'est la plus animée avec l'été des festivals et le marché hebdomadaire ! La plage de Carteret avec la chapelle a été un vrai coup de coeur, magnifique étendue de sable quasi déserte: un bonheur!

Très belles ballades à faire pouvant relier plusieurs plages sur un même parcours, mais attention aux marées et aux distances, les plages sont très grandes et venteuses, bien se protéger ! Sinon, dépaysement assuré et grand bol d'air frais garantis pour se ressourcer !

My preference, as many people I think for the beach of the chapel. It is a huge sandy beach bordered of dunes. It is so large that even if there are many people, you can not be on the other. The only problem is that it is not supervised and that there are strong currents.
Otherwise, the other beaches Barnevile-Carteret, which are supervised, do not have as much charm than the beach of the chapel but they are very well located not far from the city and campsites.

My touch would have been of 5/5 for the beach of the old church for its sand and its space and only 3/5 for those of Barneville and Carteret that are more and more with stones, since the creation of the dam at the entrance to the port, because new currents are created because and bringing sand. But they are very pleasant all that is at high tide as at low tide.
