KOGHIS MOUNTS
Several trails start on the road next to the Auberge du Mont Koghi and are marked. The Malaoui Peak trail is undoubtedly the most interesting and rewarding. This 6.5 kilometer and 300 meter climb will take you about three hours round trip. The path goes deep into the primary forest before joining the ridge lines, on a steeper and slippery part. Once at the peak, the view of Grand Nouméa and the lagoon is breathtaking. Another hike of 2 km leads to the waterfall of the Koghis Mountains and is worth the detour.
