The landscape is gradually changing to the west, new facilities, accommodation and activities are being created and the Ouano peninsula is changing its face. The Caledonian Wake Park is a beautiful project with Jérémie and Patrick, two partners but especially two friends who came from the rock but who have travelled a lot and lived abroad. The idea is to set up New Caledonia's first wake park (water ski lift) at the leisure centre. Work is ongoing, but in the meantime, we can already enjoy the site, the bungalows and the campsite. The 5 bungalows can accommodate up to 5 people (1 double bed and 2 single beds), they are air-conditioned and equipped with a bathroom. However, you will have to bring your own sheets, pillows and towels. Campers share the kitchen and sanitary blocks (refurbished). The snack bar offers delicious dishes in Japanese colours. The pool on the deck offers a sublime view of the lagoon and mangrove swamp. Beware of mosquitoes!

When camping, from 1,500 CFP per tent per person, 1,000 CFP per additional adult (800 CFP per additional child). Possibility to camp under wax. Outside shower, barbecue, electrical outlet and pool access at 500 CFP per person (300 CFP per child). In a bungalow, from 10 500 CFP for 2 people (1500 CFP per adult and 1 000 CFP per additional child). Free access to the swimming pool, terrace, barbecue. Japanese snack restaurant open every day except Monday (weekday bookings), snacks from 500 CFP, dishes from 1 700 CFP. Kayak rental from 1,000 CFP per hour.

Visited in september 2022

We did not stay at the camp ground but loved our Japanese lunch at the café by the beach. It came recommended by our hosts in Farino and did not disappoint..
