GREAT FERNS PARK
Access signposted from Farino (6 km of track in varying degrees of condition). Located in the communes of Sarraméa, Farino and Moindou, the Parc des Grandes Fougères was inaugurated in 2008 to protect an exceptional natural environment. A network of hiking trails has been laid out to enable visitors to explore 4,500 hectares of tropical rainforest. The flora and species present are mostly endemic (cagou, notou, crested parakeet...). Motorized vehicles and dogs not permitted.

Opening time and information on GREAT FERNS PARK
Open every day from 7.30am to 5.30pm except Tuesday. Open public holidays except on December 25th and on January 1st. Last admission in the park at 3.30pm. Rates: 400 CFP by adult and 200 CFP per child. Guided hikes by reservation with Association Moinriméa (✆+687 44 31 84).
