BOURAIL MUSEUM
The museum was established in the old central store of the city, built by the bagnards in 1870 and then converted into cheese dairies. The main building focuses on Bourail's history, rich in everyday objects, anecdotes and explanations for different communities. On the ground floor, an easy Caledonian interior was reconstituted, as well as workshops. In the courtyard you will find a bread oven, a bakery and a kanak box. It is a lively and well maintained attraction by a staff available. Shop and Wi-Fi on site. Guided tours of the New Zealand site or cemetery are also possible, as are traditional weaving workshops on Tuesday morning from 9 am to 12 pm.
