A warm place serving traditional French gastronomy, simple and well done.

The epitome of a warm place: wood, a large fireplace, large tables and chairs always made of wood, grandmother's paintings on the wall and the dishes that go with them, in short, you feel at home right away! The auberge des Casse-croûte offers simple and well-made dishes: various and original salads, traditional French gastronomy dishes, entrecote, fish, in short, all good things. On the day of our visit, delicious mackerel rillettes and an excellent sausage braised with herbs.

Habitué de cette auberge, nous étions venu manger une entrecôte sauce camembert, elle n'était pas à la carte snifff, la viande reste excellente mais avec la fourbe d'ambert ce n'est pas ce qu'il y a de mieux.

Excellente cuisine simple et fine. Service efficace et sympathique. Les assiettes sont bien garnies. La planche à partager pour deux en entrée est excellente avec une mention spéciale pour la terrine ; il est rare d’en trouver de si bonne. Jolie carte des vins.
