The Cliffs of Carolles, a wild site of great natural wealth to discover.
They dominate a vast panorama stretching as far as Cap Fréhel and the Chausey islands on a clear day. Many painters have enjoyed settling in this beautiful spot. From Pignon Butor, follow the G.R. 223, which follows the route of the "chemin des douaniers", and enjoy this beautiful walk. Heading south, you’ll plunge into the Lude valley. Tucked between two high cliffs, this is a wild site of great natural wealth, then you’ll climb back up to the Champeaux cliffs, and admire the silhouette of Mont Saint-Michel in its bay. Splendid.
