Situated opposite the outer harbor - an ideal location for enjoying the incessant spectacle of the boats - the Café du Port can accommodate several dozen people, either in the dining room or on the large terrace. Welcome and tasty dishes at any time excellent. Passing through, we arrived after 14:00 with our three dogs (Australian shepherds, certainly very high but not the smallest gauges.) we were welcomed with friendliness and good humour, the owner has even immediately available for dogs. On the menu, sea sauerkraut (generous and comforting), seafood platter (fresh and very good) and unmissable macaroon with salted butter, the house specialty, absolutely additives. In short, a very good meal, a pleasant view of the port of Cherbourg, a very friendly staff who did not hesitate to share his tourist advice, a warm and quiet atmosphere and space. … us and our companions with 4pattes of naps arisen happy!
