CHURCH OF NOTRE DAME-CHAPELLE SAINT GERMAIN
This chapel, built on older foundations, overlooks the town of Querqueville.
The Saint-Germain chapel dates from the end of the 9th century. Built on older foundations, it overlooks the town of Querqueville. In the centre of the transept, the bell tower built in 1655 replaces that of the church, which was then in danger of falling into ruin, and the chapel was listed in 1856. A visit to the chapel reveals, among other things, a large polychrome wooden crucifix from the late 17th or early 18th century, a statue of Saint Hélier, and a polychrome stone statue of Saint Clair.
