The site of the launch pad for Germany’s V1 rockets during the Second World War is a witness to a little-known history.
The site of the German V1 rocket launch pad during World War II is a relatively unknown, but very impressive, historical testimony. Consisting of two parallel walls measuring approximately 75 meters in length, it was never used, as it was almost completed when the Allies landed on June 6, 1944, and arrived in the town three weeks later. An impressive place.
