It is one of the must-see places in Cherbourg. In the heart of a 17-hectare park, the alleys of the formal gardens invite you to stroll through the cascading flowerbeds, from ponds to landscaped grottoes, from the moat to the greenhouse sheltering palm trees and succulents. Très bel endroit... Le château des Ravalet est très bien entretenu, les jardins et la forêt alentour permettent de très belles promenades. Des aires de jeux pour les enfants ont été installé, et vous pouvez vous relaxer tout en ayant un œil sur eux. Table de pique-nique, bancs et lieux de tranquillité se succèdent pour que de 2 à 97 ans la balade soit appréciée. La forêt ne possède pas de banc alors attention si votre santé ne vous permet pas d'aller si loin... toutefois le tour des jardins et des étangs permet déjà une belle visite tout en vous permettant de reprendre votre souffle le cas échéant. Le château ferme ses portes aux alentours de 20h30 la journée est donc à vous... vous pourrez découvrir à l'entrée du domaine un lieu où de multiples artistes viennent promouvoir leur art, n'hésitez pas à aller les découvrir... Bonne visite à tous... ah oui... c'est gratuit ????.
