A beautiful and peaceful park with greenhouses displaying various species of exotic plants in the heart of Cherbourg.

Right in the heart of the city, it is a little piece of paradise and a call to travel, in addition to being a green lung within the agglomeration. A garden as beautiful as it is peaceful, planted with spruces, palm trees, camellias or century-old azaleas. Emmanuel Liais, mayor of the city in the 18th century and passionate about botany, took advantage of his stays in Brazil and gradually developed an impressive collection, which he bequeathed to the city, which dedicated this one-hectare park to him.

Parc et Serres Emmanuel Liais 50100 Cherbourg-En-Cotentin
Les parc et serres Emmanuel Liais situés à Cherbourg-En-Cotentin comprennent un grand et beau parc arboré d'arbres majestueux et magnifiques ainsi que de diverses plantes. Un petit plan d'eau, la statue à Emmanuel Liais ainsi qu'une tour viennent compléter la visite du parc avant de découvrir les serres. Un très agréable moment de visite, même si le beau temps n'était pas trop au rendez-vous !

Parc super sympa à 5 min du centre ville. avec pas très loin la bibliothèque des sciences.
Profitez d'un cadre super reposant en plein coeur de ville. attention à pas vous faire enfermer le soir. C'est aussi le paradis des joggeurs !
