VRASVILLE POND
The Vrasville pond, along with the Réthoville marsh, is a hydrological inlet fed by the Varouville stream
The department is home to many valuable ornithological sites. Located in the Val de Saire, the Vrasville pond, along with the Réthoville marsh, is one of the hydrological inlets fed by the Varouville stream. It is a string of wetlands, adjacent to a dune line bordered by pebbles at the top of the beach, which are very attractive to birds. During their migratory stopover, waders, ducks, egrets, purple herons, marsh harriers and whiskered tits can be observed. Their presence is closely linked to the water level.
