Site not to be missed in the Val de Saire, the water mill of Marie Ravenel in Vicq-sur-Mer.

Renamed the "Moulin à eau de Marie Ravenel" in homage to the poetess who lived there in the 19th century, the place located in Vicq-sur-Mer has been gradually renovated to the point where it is now an unmissable site in the Val de Saire. The large waterwheel, more than three metres in diameter, has been completely rebuilt, as has the typical Norman roof. Inside, various educational workshops (the children's and adult bread workshops) are on offer.

Nous avons découvert le moulin à l'occasion d'une animation ornithologique à la découverte des oiseaux de la région. Dommage que l'animation soit restée très localisée sur le moulin. Visite à refaire pour en savoir plus sur l'histoire de ce lieu

Très décevant. Nous sommes venus au mois d'août, pleine saison touristique à mon sens. Le moulin était à l'arrêt et même pas un paquet de farine à acheter... Cependant le lieu est très joli. Dommage.
