Site not to be missed in the Val de Saire, the water mill of Marie Ravenel in Vicq-sur-Mer.

Renamed the "Moulin à eau de Marie Ravenel" in homage to the poetess who lived there in the 19th century, the place located in Vicq-sur-Mer has been gradually renovated to the point where it is now an unmissable site in the Val de Saire. The large waterwheel, more than three metres in diameter, has been completely rebuilt, as has the typical Norman roof. Inside, various educational workshops (the children's and adult bread workshops) are on offer.

Moulin ouvert 7j/7 mais pas le mercredi et jeudi matin. Ecrit en tout petit sur l'affiche a l'entrée.

Un lieu superbe, une belle restauration de ce lieu d histoire de la vie des gens du commun et de la vie de la poétesse, une très belle idée de continuer à faire fonctionner ce moulin, confectionner la farine et puis.... Céline si passionnée , si competante et accueillante. Allez y !!!
