Very calm place to stay. Self check in can be problem for night check ins

La wifi no llega bien, suciedad en paredes y puertas de armarios, olor extraño en el edificio y en la habitación, por lo demás es espaciosa la habitación al menos.

Beautiful neighborhood, 15 minutes tram to city center. Very clean,comfortable, and basic. I would return.

It's a horror. The hotel is very dirty. We had to wait two hours longer than we agreed because it didn't have time to clean it up. Cleaned up for 5 minutes. Wiped the table and went away. The walls are all stained.

First of all, when we arrived at the scheduled check-in time, the place was simply not ready and we had to wait for another half an hours with all our things while the guy was cleaning it. It’s rather weird given that they emphasize that you can’t check in early. One would expect that they at least back it up by being punctual and put extra care to clean the place well before their guest arrive. But no, they just start cleaning 5 minutes before the check in time they set themselves :)

Also, when I messaged the property about that, they didn’t even respond.

Secondly, the Wi Fi login/password are nowhere to be found in the room even though they state they should be. You have to message the property and ask for it (at least that was quick).

Thirdly, the room is quite dirty. Mold on the walls, dust on the surfaces, the floor under the beds seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in months.

But all of it vanes compared to their ridiculously bad customer service. The staff is not just rude, they are aggressive and hateful.

We had an emergency because on the day we had to leave, our child fell sick with a food poisoning so we called their office to ask if we could check out a few hours later (we even offered to pay extra). It also made sense to us because we KNEW for sure that they do not clean their rooms right away so even if the next guests were arriving on the same day, it wouldn’t have made a big difference. Instead, their employee started yelling at us when we pointed that out and said that apparently it’s because of the guests like us they do not clean their rooms on time ????????????

All in all, it’s an absolute trash and the worst accommodation we’ve ever had. Not something you’d expect from Zurich. It’s better to pay a bit more and save your nerves. DO NOT STAY THERE!
