Small restaurant with full-flavoured and traditional cuisine at a moderate price in Coutances.

L’Oreille Cassée is the funny name given to this tiny restaurant in the centre of town, run by Joëlle, the owner and chef. It’s always full, so don’t forget to ask or book in advance. And once you’ve settled in, you’ll be treated to flavourful, traditional and generous cuisine with no fuss. The daily special, at a modest price, is always well thought out. The meats are good, and the place also offers croques and tartines, including for vegetarians. We love it, and we’re not the only ones!

jeudi 14 décembre 2023. 14 h . Je me promène dans Coutances, j'ai envie d'un café, je lève la tête et vois l'enseigne " BAR - RESTO ". Deux femmes assises à une table. La serveuse arrive. " bonjour, un café s'il vous plaît ". réponse de l'employé: bonjour, AH, EUH...je ferme dans 20 minutes. réponse de moi...il n'y aura pas de réponse, tellement écoeuré d'une telle situation, je tourne les talons et sors sans mot dire ( pas sans maudire ). HONTE HONTE HONTE
