City Hall of Coutances in the Hôtel de Citi, with a beautiful facade and a mural by Charles Rocher de Gerigné
Here is a new architectural marvel of the city that you can’t help but admire. The Town Hall has been housed in the Hôtel de Cuti (late 17th, early 18th century) since 1819. The courtyard façade was embellished in the 19th century with a wide staircase, an arcaded gallery and a belfry. The magnificent façade, which dominates the Place du Parvis, dates from the beginning of the 20th century. Inside, you will admire a mural painting by Charles Rocher de Gérigné, representing a Norman wedding.
