SAINT-LÔ-D'OURVILLE BEACH - LINDBERGH BEACH
A beautiful sandy beach, relatively preserved from urbanization, a nice place to take a dip in summer in Port-Bail.
Why this nickname of Lindbergh-Plage? Simply because the famous aviator, during his famous - and very first - crossing of the Atlantic in May 1927, would have passed over the beach in question. If the claim has never been confirmed (others say that he would have passed further north, over Cherbourg), the fact remains that this pretty sandy beach, relatively preserved from urbanization, is a very nice place to take a dip in summer!
