What is loubia? It's a typical North African dish, based on white beans, tomato sauce and a host of spices and condiments such as onion, garlic, bay leaf, thyme, cumin and paprika. As the name suggests, this establishment is best known for its loubia (a special, secretly-guarded loubia recipe), which is eaten standing up or on the end of a table in the mini-choppe, which could be 100 years old. Also sardines and salads. An unmissable address just a stone's throw from the port.
